“The course was well delivered by an instructor that was knowledgeable, dynamic and engaging throughout. As a result of attending the First Aid training course I now feel confident in my own abilities to be able to administer First Aid within the boundaries of my training. The Bachmann training facility is very modern and conducive to learning, the refreshments facilities where comfortable and present a relaxing environment”.

"We found the COSHH course to be excellently tailored to our needs and time scales. It was very professional but still with elements of banter, making it fun and interesting. Mike, our trainer has a passion for keeping people safe and this showed through his training, stories and understanding. - we will definitely be doing more training at Bachmann Training!"

Having spoken to all the apprentices involved with the bespoke course, I’ve had a lot of positive feedback.
“Good classroom facilities and training aids”
“Well thought through timetable with a generous lunch”
“Excellent and friendly Instructor with considerable knowledge of the subject in question”
Having dealt with Bachmann Training myself I have found them to be very approachable and willing to accommodate. I have received only positive feedback from those who attended the course and, would not hesitate to use them again for training purposes.

"Enjoyed the course on Basic Electrical Safety very much. The instructor was clearly very knowledgable and was open to questions at any time. we were looked after well, and in nice surroundings which is always a plus when it comes to training. Harris Pye is very likely to use Bachmann Training again in the future".
Thank you for your work.
Our customer has studied carefully about your course plan, they were really satisfied with it. The course is quite comprehensive and reasonable, and we are happy to find a responsible partner like you, hope we could reach an agreement finally.
Some courses had been taken by the candidates at school, however, there will be difference between the old courses and renewed one. What's more, the education quality of college in China is not so good as you know, most of the students are aiming at passing the examination and getting the certificate, not for practical use. This is a common problem for the university education in China all the time, therefore, our customer decide that all the students will take the whole courses completely. In this way, the process can be unified, and it will be easier for the management. The students can adjust the training plan themselves, namely, more attention can be paid to the unfamiliar courses while less attention would be paid to the educated courses.
Awaiting for your further training information.

Overall I was pretty happy with the Basic Electrical Safety Course. The main point is that we are a marine company (despite our location) so that needs to the main focus of our training.
Good introduction on why safety is important
Signage and colouring was useful
Voltage definitions (HV/LV)
Stored capacitance on systems (although could have done a bit more)
Examples of electrical standards in electrical safety (nice to have more)
Dealing with casualties
Working in explosive atmosphere was mentioned, but could do with a bit more.
Needs to cover UPS (uninterrupted power supply) in depth
More on safe use of tools
Domestic Fire Safety – very different to marine
HSE Management – this is aimed at technicians
Risk Assessments in depth
Domestic power distribution (power lines and buried cables)
Live working (we don’t do it)

Response from Bachmann Training: Please note this course covers both Shore based and Marine based companies. We can design bespoke courses on request.
"The Basic Electrical Safety Course and content was well presented. Parts of the course were not entirely suited to our line of work but interesting none the less. I did take away a better understanding of electrical safety and awareness".
Lee Parry, Team Leader, MTU UK Ltd
I have spoken to all the attendees in turn, and their ‘honest’ thoughts are that the course could be more hands on – less theory and more application and practise.
I understand though that even with the one day Emergency at Work First Aid Course, there can be a lot of content to cover.
The additional training aids provided by Condor helped in that 3 groups could carry out the exercises simultaneously instead of one group at a time.
The price that you charged per head for this course was good value.
Molly Goodship, Company Safety Officer, Condor Ferries
In the wake of storm Imogen and the havoc it brought to us locally, I found myself tending to an elderly lady who had been blown to the ground with some considerable force and sustained injuries to her head, face, hands, knees and hands.
Thankfully, with the training recently received by Bachmann Training, I was able to deal with the situation competently and with confidence until professional help arrived. Thank you again, I would happily recommend your First-Aid Course to anyone considering you as a training provider..
