The Brand New 'Multispace' Yacht

adventure-of-the-seas

The boot yachting exhibition in Dusseldorf is in full swing and there is one particular event that everyone is looking forward to: the premiere launch of 'an entirely new kind of yacht'. Created by new Italian company Cetera Yachts, the 'multispace' design is set to revolutionise the yachting industry.

The new company was founded by a group of experienced yachting professionals, including fibreglass yard Fiart Mare and renowned yacht designer Francesco Guida. Other key founders are Salvatore Serio, the previous majority shareholder at Dufour Yachts, and mould/prototype specialist Paolo Francia.

Cetera Yachts have said that the 'multispace' term is destined to sit alongside traditional yacht definitions like explorer, hardtop, trawler and flybridge. The new multispace yachts, which start at a size of 18.8 metres, use vertical repositioning to fully maximise the available onboard space, as well as focusing on simpler, more aesthetically pleasing shapes.

Living areas in the new multispace yachts are placed on a single deck and include a galley, dinette and helm station on the upper levels. On the main deck sits a full-size panoramic saloon with plenty of guest accommodation. This repositioning of spaces allows for shorter delivery times and lower production costs.

We look forward to seeing the new multispace yacht and welcoming new yacht owners to Bachmann Group. Subscribe to our newsletter for updates!
