20 Years of Service Milestone!
At BachmannHR Group, we recognise that our employees are our greatest asset. We are today delighted to honour 20 years of dedicated service and commitment to our company from one of our longest serving members of staff, Sharon Naftel.
It is our employees who uphold our corporate principles, deliver on our client promise and make us the passionate company that we are today. The success of our company is a direct result of the efforts and dedication given to us by our loyal and supportive staff. Their commitment to quality and personal and professional integrity is the differentiating factor that sets us apart from our competition.
Sharon talked about her successful career starting off as a Personnel Administrator, working her way through the ranks to become a Personnel Supervisor and is now working as a Senior member of our Bachmann Yachts Team offering yacht owners or their representatives, the best possible advice in order to maximise the potential of their vessel.
To mark the occasion, we thought we would catch up with Sharon and find out what the last 20 years at Bachmann have been like for her!
I worked for the States of Guernsey Payroll and Income Tax Department.
Things never stay the same. Something is always going on and you have to adapt to the situation. You are always learning something new.
Payroll is the main part of my job whether it be inputting/checking/dealing with clients. I also deal with Yacht clients which is very different to the payrolls that I started off doing all those years ago.

Retired! Things have changed so much over the last 20 years. I have seen the company grow and develop and of course people have come and gone. When I started, there were only 10 employees working for us! Technology has moved on so much since I started especially with the Internet and E-mails. I have also seen 3 different payroll systems. As I said, nothing stays the same.
