Guernsey Office

Crew Management & Recruitment Assistant

Due to rapid expansion we are looking for a keen and competent candidate to join our Marine Crew Management and Recruitment team.

The role involves managing crew working on yachts and ships operating all over the world as well as finding the best crew to work on those vessels.

The ideal candidate will have some knowledge and interest of working at sea in some capacity. Full training will be given as to requirement and certification needed to work on different vessels.

The successful candidate will have a right to work in Guernsey, anyone without this right will be rejected. A competitive salary and incentives are offered along with pension and medical benefits.

UK Office

Assistant Harbour Master

We are looking for someone to join our Bachmann Ports team as an Assistant Harbour Master.

The requirement is for a seagoing qualification, not necessarily as Master. This role is working for Bachmann Ports in support of the Port of Tilbury, London.  

We require a suitable qualified person who has served at sea and posses a nautical qualification to join a skilled team working and controlling harbour operations at the port.  This job will be to lead the team of contracted staff working at the port and to act as deputy to the Harbour Master.

The Port of Tilbury is expanding rapidly and the role will encompass the operation of the original locked port as well as Tilbury 2, the new ro/ro facility on the Thames

This job commands a competitive salary and benefits.  It is a 9-5, Monday to Friday position that will require some occasional overtime.

This role is offered with a competive salary and benefits. The role requires a right to work in the UK.
