Recruitment
The operation of any vessel can only be as good as the employees that make up the crew but finding those employees can be a difficult and time-consuming task. That's where our recruitment service can help. Bachmann Group maintains an extensive and ever-growing database of skilled seafarers; there are currently well over 20,000 registered with us. Our service starts by identifying the job role and advertising it to the members of the database. When we have selected suitable candidates, chosen for their skills and experience, we will take care of the entire screening and interview processes.
Once a candidate has been verified and selected, we will then ensure that they are placed seamlessly in your company, even taking care of all travel arrangements. We can prepare crew schedules and effectively manage their physical movements as well as circulating monthly payslips. If required, we can arrange for appropriate training courses, all the while complying rigidly with STCW.
Offshore Payroll
Working in close conjunction with carefully-selected partner companies, Bachmann Group is responsible for the management of over 2,500 staff members working in the crucial oil and gas industries. In addition, we manage another 900+ employees who are responsible for supporting the protection of world trade that passes through areas affected by pirate activity.
In terms of payroll, the oil and gas industries are the most complex to manage for various reasons, including high workforce mobility and the global nature of production and exploration. Port Services
For the past 15 years, Bachmann Group has been a specialist supplier and manager of experienced personnel to a number of high-profile port owners. These employees are chosen for their proven track record in the operation of strategic and technologically-advanced equipment before being effectively assimilated into existing team structures. Our port services include the supply of temporary managers, the operation/supervision of lock gates, berthing control, baggage handling and stevedoring.
