Bachmann Makes New Board Appointments

The BachmannHR Group has appointed two new members to their board.

Liz Powell

Liz has been working for BachmannHR since 2006, and prior to becoming a board member, held the position of HR Manager. Liz is responsible for all HR matters for both Bachmann Group and all of our clients. Liz has been heavily involved in HR for our Ferry clients and she has been acting as a director of DFDS (Guernsey) Ltd since the early part of 2016.

Liz is CIPD Level 5 qualified, and also holds a Diploma in Employment Law and Certificate in HR Practices.

Prior to working for BachmannHR Marine, Liz was HR Supervisor for a large fulfilment company and during this time completed her Certificate In Human Resources Practices. Before this, Liz worked for a large retail organisation for 12 years and on leaving she was HR Supervisor.

Kirsty Bell

Kirsty began her career in Accountancy working in Practice 11 years ago, which focussed primarily on preparing and auditing accounts for a variety of local trading companies.

Following that, she spent a number of years working as Finance Manager in the hospitality industry for a large chain of local restaurants, and then for a chain of hotels and restaurants.

Having attained her ACCA Qualification and looking to utilise her accountancy skills further afield, Kirsty joined Bachmann’s in December 2015 as Finance Manager. Kirsty is very excited with the opportunity of joining the Board and bringing some fresh ideas to help the continual growth of BachmannHR Group.
