Bachmann Yachts add a sleek ‘Italian Job’ to their portfolio

News just in from Bachmann’s Head of Yachting Gary Le Cras, confirms that the Guernsey based multi faceted Maritime Services Group have been contracted to provide ownership structuring, registration, and ongoing services to an Italian built 25 metre Riva sports yacht.

The iconic Riva brand which was taken over by the Ferretti Group 17 years ago, has distinguished itself way beyond the original, much loved, and highly crafted wooden launches that were the hallmark of the rich and famous in the Fifties.

In fact the company that was started by Pietro Riva in 1842 on the shores of Lake Iseo in Northern Italy, after he gallantly repaired the local fisherman’s boats following a devastating storm, has in recent years been responsible for the production of some of the finest high performance luxury sports cruisers in the ‘just under superyacht’ size range ever seen!

These include the76ft (23m) ‘Bahamas’, the 88ft (26m) ‘Florida’ and the stunning 88ft (26m) ‘Domino Super’ coupe model which offers 4 cabins, plus 2 crew, and can be driven powerfully along by an MTU 16 valve, 2600 hp diesel engine for owners wishing to get from A to B in a hurry!
