Our Favourite Luxury Vessels at the Monaco Yacht Show!

The 2024 Monaco Yacht Show is over and this year's event was one of the biggest and best ever. Representatives from Bachmann Group were in attendance during the show from the 25th to the 28th of September, showcasing the globally-renowned suite of services that we provide to the yachting industry.

At the Monaco Yacht Show 2024, our team were excited to be in our very own dedicated space. The Bachmann Lounge was located on the charming and picturesque Route de la Piscine, which put us in prime position. Though our team members spent much of their time hard at work, they did of course find some time to slip away and enjoy the spectacle of the over 120 amazing vessels that were proudly on display in Monaco's spectacular harbour.

Though almost every yacht our team saw was impressive, there were two that particularly caught their attention: DAR and Amaryllis.

DAR
DAR was built in 2018 by Oceanco and given a substantial refit just prior to her hotly-anticipated appearance at the 2024 Monaco Yacht Show. Sleek, streamlined and delightfully contemporary, the exterior of the beautiful vessel was created by the acclaimed Luiz de Bato Design group. One of the key things that makes DAR's exteriors so unique and attractive is the extensive use of glazing: an astonishing 73% of her superstructure is made from glass!

DAR has a length of 90 metres and a gross weight of just under 3,000 tonnes. Her interiors, created in collaboration between Valentina Zannier and Nuvolari & Lenard, have been designed to 'seamlessly connect' with the versatile exterior areas. Numerous luxurious features include a jacuzzi, a spa beach club and a private owner's salon.

Amaryllis
Measuring close to 79 metres in length and with a top speed of 16 knots, this Abeking & Rasmussen vessel was quite rightly described as a 'masterpiece of design'. Her striking interiors, designed by the famed Reymond Langton, are inspired by various historical periods such as Art Deco, Art Nouveau and the Belle Époque.

Six large and inviting suites provide accommodation for up to 12 guests, all of whom can enjoy breathtaking 180° views across the ocean through vast panoramic windows. Facilities include a cinema, piano lounge, outdoor dining area and spa. Guests wanting to move from the bridge to the lower deck can use either an elegant spiral staircase or even a glass elevator. Pure luxury!

The yachting services offered by Bachmann Group are comprehensive and are provided by a carefully-chosen team of experts. Find out more on our website and please subscribe to our newsletter to stay in touch with the latest developments from this dynamic industry.
