TAKEOVER OF THE BACHMANNHR GROUP

St Peter Port, Guernsey – 1 October 2013

Following a career of over 30 years in the marine and yachting industry, Peter Bachmann has sold BachmannHR Group to its current CEO, Nick Saul.

“We have been waiting for approval from the Guernsey Financial Services Commission before announcing the purchase and I am pleased to advise that completion was achieved yesterday.

This business is constantly evolving and with changes within the industry it is an exciting time to be taking ownership.  The Bachmann name has been synonymous with the marine industry, especially yachting, for many years and I am pleased that with the retention of the name BachmannHR, it will remain a valued and respected brand.

The Group’s business has grown constantly over the years and we have are keen to continue developing business both in the Channel Islands and mainland Europe” commented Nick Saul

BachmannHR Group manages the employment of over 22,000 marine staff as well as making payroll payments in excess of US$ 1 billion annually.

Operating from its principal offices in Guernsey, UK and France, it directly employs over 75 staff and its client base includes some of the worlds leading shipping companies.
