The Greatest Show in Guernsey!

Fifty years. Five decades. Half a century. However you choose to phrase it, that is quite a long time! Bachmann Group is extremely excited to be reaching this impressive milestone, having been established all the way back in 1974. We are celebrating the occasion in a number of ways, one of which is sponsoring an event that promises to be lots of fun for everyone involved. Allow us to invite you to The Greatest Show...

The Greatest Show is presented by Guernsey Arts, an organisation that was founded in 2008. Guernsey Arts was launched with the aim to 'maximise the impact of the artistic community', seeking to promote the importance, value and relevance of the arts while providing Guernsey residents with a strong and identifiable voice. The organisation organises numerous events throughout the year, including theatre shows, festivals and art exhibitions.  

The Greatest Show actually comprises two events, both of which will take place at the prestigious Duke of Richmond Hotel here on the beautiful island of Guernsey. The first of the events will be on the evening of Saturday the 19th of October, followed by an intriguingly described 'Afternoon Tea with a Difference' the next day.

There will be lots of incredible entertainment on offer, including live performances from Guernsey's Musical Theatre Group and a hotly-anticipated set from the band Element 6. Guests will be treated to plenty of delicious food and there will also be a raffle and auction to take part in. 

The Greatest Show will be raising much-needed funds for Diabetes Guernsey, a local charity. Diabetes Guernsey was established to help people with the condition to live their best life, offering support and education as required. The charity, which is run by people with diabetes and their families, also seeks to raise awareness about the condition on a wider scale, as well as offering a unique platform to encourage peer support.
