UK Chamber of Shipping at its Annual Dinner
The Bachmann Group was pleased to support the UK Chamber of Shipping at its Annual Dinner on Monday evening, sponsoring the official event programme for one of the most established dates in the UK maritime calendar.
The dinner brought together leaders, decision-makers and professionals from across the UK shipping and maritime services sector. It was an evening that celebrated not only the industry's achievements but also the strength of the relationships that underpin it. From commercial shipping and technical services through to professional support and regulation, the event reflected the breadth and depth of the UK’s maritime ecosystem.
Representing Bachmann Group on the evening were owner and CEO Nick Saul, alongside Liz Powell, HR and Operations Director. Both spent the evening engaging with peers from across the industry, renewing long-standing connections and meeting new faces from organisations working at every level of shipping and maritime services.
For Bachmann Group, involvement in the event was about more than visibility. It was a reflection of the Group’s continued commitment to the maritime sector and its people. While payroll remains a core and trusted service, the heart of Bachmann has always been in supporting complex, international industries where expertise, reliability and relationships matter. Shipping and yachting are prime examples of that.
The evening also served as a reminder of the collaborative nature of maritime. Shipping does not operate in isolation. It depends on a network of professionals, from operators and engineers to administrators, advisors and service providers, all working together to keep vessels moving and businesses compliant. Events like the UK Chamber of Shipping Annual Dinner provide a rare and valuable opportunity to step back from day-to-day pressures and focus on that shared purpose.
As a long-standing supporter of the maritime sector, Bachmann Group was proud to play a small part in an event that highlighted the expertise, resilience and continued progress of UK shipping. With strong roots in Guernsey, St. Peter Port and the wider Channel Islands, and a growing international reach, the Group remains committed to supporting maritime and yachting clients wherever they operate.
Bachmann Group looks forward to continuing its involvement with the UK Chamber of Shipping and to supporting future events that bring the industry together in the same spirit of collaboration and professionalism.
