Candie Gardens
Located in St Peter Port, just a stone's throw from our offices, Candie Gardens is a must-see if you plan on visiting Guernsey. Originally belonging to Candie House (which is now the intriguing Priaulx Library), the gorgeous gardens were established as a public park over 130 years ago, in 1894.

From the Upper Gardens, you'll be able to enjoy breathtaking views across to the neighbouring islands of Sark and Herm. While you're there, be sure to check out the statues of Victor Hugo and Queen Victoria. There's also the Guernsey Museum to explore, and a lovely little café where you can purchase a range of refreshments.

Castle Cornet
Built over 800 years ago, Castle Cornet is today a Protected Monument. After experiencing a guided tour around the imposing structure, enjoy browsing through no fewer than four different museum areas. If you're there at noon, you'll get to see the impressive firing of a 32-pound cannon, operated by a gunner in the traditional dress of the Royal Guernsey Militia. Be sure to visit the gift shop for souvenirs before you leave!

Sausmarez Manor
This exquisite manor house showcases a wide range of architectural styles; the most notable of these is the building's façade, which is widely considered to be the very best example of the Queen Anne Colonial style of architecture. There are multiple attractions for the whole family to enjoy, such as tours of the house (including ghost tours!), tropical gardens, a sculpture park, and a miniature railway.
