Yacht Safety Breakdown Courses
Our training division, Bachmann Training is able to offer Yacht Safety Breakdown Courses.
The next course will take place on Thursday 18th August at our Lee on Solent Training Centre.
The course covers basic competency level to return the yacht to a safe heaven and includes basic training in engine breakdowns at sea, electrical faults, boat safety plus limited planned maintenance.
You will learn;
- Health and Safety
- Preparing for the Journey
- Radio Operations and Procedures
- Equipment and Tools Required
- Basic Maintenance
- Checking for non-starter Faults (Electrical and Fuel)
- Removing and Replacing Batteries Correctly and safety
Other Common Engine Faults and their Causes
Revision, Assessments and Training
Certificates will be presented
Cost of the course is £125 per person + VAT (to include lunch)
