Countdown to boot Düsseldorf
Tens of thousands of visitors representing over 100 countries are headed for Düsseldorf in Germany, to attend 'boot', the biggest and most diverse boat and water sports trade fair on the planet.
Running for a full nine days starting on 19th January, boot will provide a unique platform to nearly 2,000 exhibitors, who will be presenting and showcasing the most recent innovations and developments from across the marine industries.
16 dedicated spaces, which in total cover over 220,000 square metres, will accommodate the exhibitors. Many big-name operators will be making presentations, including much-anticipated appearances by Princess and Monte Carlo Yachts. All types of yachting equipment will be showcased as well as watersport equipment, from sports including rowing, paddle boarding, kitesurfing and jetskiing. Visitors will be encouraged to check out the many stands of marinas, beach resorts, watersport facilities and charter companies.
Petros Michelidakis is the Show Director of boot. Drawing attention to the unique diversity of the event, he said, "boot Düsseldorf is the only trade fair in the world that truly represents the diversity of the industry and scene. With manufacturers from over 70 countries throughout the world expected to attend, we are unique in exhibiting such a wide range of product diversity."
Boot Düsseldorf opens at 10am on the 19th January and remains so until 6pm each day. Admission costs €19 for a adult daily ticket (€11 concessionary) and €7 for children aged between seven and twelve. As a handy bonus, all show tickets entitlethe bearer to use the Rhine-Ruhr transport system free of charge.
