Offshore Job Vacancies: Join the Bachmann Team!
Since Bachmann Group was established almost fifty years ago, we have been continually expanding in terms of both size and scope. Our reputation for excellence has grown correspondingly; much of this reputation can be attributed to the hard work, skills, talents and dedication of our carefully chosen team members.
One of our key services, which we have been providing for over two decades, is that of recruitment. From an extensive and ever growing database of more than 20,000 candidates, we help to recruit employees of all types for our vast global network of clients. As Bachmann Group expands, new vacancies in our own company become available and this edition of our blog showcases two of these.
We are looking for candidates who are determined to delivering excellence, helping to further their own careers as well as to build upon our existing reputation for impeccable quality. Successful candidates will enjoy an extremely competitive rate of pay in addition to other benefits such as medical cover and a generous pension scheme. The vacancies currently available are:

You will be responsible for assisting with providing our suite of employment services from day to day, all the while making sure that payrolls are processed promptly and accurately. This will include ensuring that due diligence and compliance requirements are met.
The successful client will be based at our headquarters in Guernsey and so must have a legal right to both work and live here. Though basic proficiency with payroll and administration procedures is desirable, we would be willing to provide full training to the right applicant. Marine Operative
Bachmann Ports requires a permanent Marine Operative. You will also be responsible for many other day to day tasks such as marine structure maintenance and berth preparation, while maintaining strict compliance with the Port Marine Safety Code.
Based at the Port of Tilbury on the famous River Thames in London, the role will function on a rotational basis of two weeks on followed by two weeks off, with accommodation provided on site. We're looking for someone who is physically fit and, while an MOD (Navy), CoC or similar maritime qualification is desirable, it is not essential.
