It's Almost Time to Start Celebrating...

December is just around the corner and it's one of the most exciting months of the year. There's a big celebration coming up and it's time to start looking forward to that incredibly special day. And no, we're not talking about Christmas: it's Bachmann Group's birthday!

Of course, every birthday is special but the one we have coming up is extra-special as Bachmann Group will be turning the big five-oh. Yes, we know we don't look a day over 30! It's hard to believe that our company has been around for a full half century, having been established long before the internet back in 1974. What has kept us thriving in an ever-changing world is our innate ability and willingness to grow and evolve, embracing new technologies and ways of working while steadfastly holding on to our core value of delivering excellence to our clients.

From humble beginnings, Bachmann Group has grown to become a globally-renowned provider of a comprehensive range of marine services, which have recently been extended to aviation clients as well. Still based in our native Guernsey, Bachmann Group is today staffed by over 50 cherry-picked individuals in addition to more than 1,200 mariners who work on our clients' vessels all over the world. Our employee database has also continued to grow and today comprises well over 15,000 offshore workers and seafarers of all kinds. 

The Bachmann Group team members began celebrating our 50th birthday a little early, sponsoring The Greatest Show back in October. The two-day event, which was presented by Guernsey Arts and comprised an afternoon tea and an evening dinner-and-dance event with live music, was a roaring success. As well as getting a much-deserved opportunity to relax and let our collective hair down, Bachmann Group raised lots of money for Diabetes Guernsey during The Greatest Show.
